I like to look at the little things, to make the ordinary beautiful. It can seem at times as though the only narrative that matters is the one that’s walking down the red carpet in a smart frock. But that is the smallest story we could ever think to tell…

I want to recount tales about quanta of energy and the twelfth dimension, or the bus driver who swerved seconds too late; the giant chess set that the refugees play on in Queen’s Gardens and where Love goes for a fag break. I want to overhear people on the bus, buy old postcards written in another language, and make a collage of headlines from ‘Nursing Today’. I want to reclaim, recycle, reinvent and re-imagine. Whether it’s live art, theatre, an installation or music, I’ve been doing it professionally (!?) since 2003 and I don’t ever want to stop. What the hell else would I do?
